As a recitalist or soloist with orchestra: Elisabeth Plank has performed in renowned concert halls & festivals around the world – such as Musikverein Wien, Wiener Konzerthaus, Harpa Reykjavík, Konzerthaus Berlin, NOSPR, Bogotá International Music Festival, Dubai Opera or Festival de Música de Morelia, with orchestras like Barockensemble der Wiener Symphoniker, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, Iasi Philharmonic or Thüringer Symphoniker.
 
Elisabeth Plank is a prizewinner of international competitions. From 2019-2021 she was “Great Talent” of Wiener Konzerthaus and as first harpist ever she has been chosen for “New Austrian Sound of Music”.
 
She has released three critically acclaimed solo albums („L‘arpa notturna“, „1825 – Echoes of Vienna on Historical Harp“ and “musings”) „a thoughtful and beautifully played disc […] Plank has a real command of light and shade. She‘s adept at creating musical perspective“ (Gramophone) In 2023 she has recorded Mozart’s double concerto with ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien for alpha classics as part of the „Next Generation Mozart Soloist“-series.
 
Elisabeth Plank was born in Vienna in 1991. She studied at the University of Music Vienna with Adelheid Blovsky-Miller and Mirjam Schröder.
 
The harpist also teaches as a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at international masterclasses and workshops, and is founder and artistic director of Vienna Harp Days.
