Magdalena Hoffmann<\/h2><\/div>

The German harpist Magdalena Hoffmann\u202fwas appointed principal harpist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2018, teaches at the Tyrolean State Conservatory and likes plain r\u00e9sum\u00e9s. She is an exclusive recording artist with Deutsche Grammophon, the first album \u201cNightscapes\u201d received an \u201cOpus Klassik\u201d award in 2022, her second album \u201cFantasia\u201d was published in September 2024.

She studied in D\u00fcsseldorf with Fabiana Trani, in Munich with Cristina Bianchi and in London with Skaila Kanga; when she practised enough, she also got a few prizes at competitions, for example two special awards at the ARD competition 2016 in Munich. Festivals are nice and so Magdalena plays there sometimes (Schleswig-Holstein, Rheingau, Hitzacker, MDR Musiksommer, Anima Mundi Pisa, Davos\u2026). She also very much likes to play for kids and that\u2019s why she developed a theatre concert (\u201cODYSSEY\u201d) in 2014 which has been performed a lot.

Magdalena Hoffmann is cultural ambassador for the project CASA HOGAR, which aims at providing education and a home for young girls in the Columbian crisis region Choc\u00f3.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
