Die Harfe in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg und Europa<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Vorarlberg hat mit sch\u00e4tzungsweise 300 Harfenist*innen aller Leistungsstufen und Altersklassen eine au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Dichte an Harfe spielenden Menschen und bietet mit der Stella Privathochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Feldkirch zudem geographisch einen sehr zentralen und leicht zu erreichenden Ort um Harfenist*innen und Liebhaber*innen aus ganz Europa anzuziehen.

Nicht zuletzt die seit 15 Jahren j\u00e4hrlich stattfindenden Feldkircher Harfentage zeigen mit ihren bis zu 50 aktiven Teilnehmer*innen, wie ein niederschwelliger, \u00fcberregionaler Austausch m\u00f6glich ist und weit in die Gesellschaft strahlt.

Seit 2007 hat es kein europ\u00e4isches Harfensymposium mehr gegeben. Damit fehlt eine Plattform, die den Austausch und die Vernetzung auch au\u00dferhalb von Wettbewerben oder in gr\u00f6\u00dferem Ma\u00dfstab erm\u00f6glicht. Neben zahlreichen kleineren Festivals ist nur der Weltharfenkongress geblieben, der nach 2008 in Amsterdam erst 2023 mit Cardiff wieder eine Stadt in Europa erreicht hat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Die Initialz\u00fcndung<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Der 100. Geburtstag einer Harfe der legend\u00e4ren Firma Erard, die einst der ber\u00fchmten italienischen Harfenistin Clelia Gatti Aldrovandi geh\u00f6rte, ist der Anlass bei diesem Symposium die Harfe und ihre reiche Geschichte zu feiern. Dieses Instrument, welches mit seinen gotisch-viktorianisch Verzierungen einen Blick in die Vergangenheit gew\u00e4hrt, doch gleichzeitig unter den H\u00e4nden von Clelia Gatti Aldrovandi heutige Standardwerke von Hindemith, Casella, Rota und vielen anderen Komponisten der Avant Garde zur Urauff\u00fchrung gebracht hat, verbindet selbst die Vergangenheit mit der Zukunft in einer einzigartigen Weise. Dies soll Anlass und Ansporn f\u00fcr uns alle sein, unser Erbe zu pflegen, zu entwickeln und in die Zukunft zu tragen.

Gleichzeitig feiert die Harfenklasse in Feldkirch ihr 40-j\u00e4hriges Bestehen. Vom Landeskonservatorium f\u00fcr Vorarlberg bis zur heutigen Stella Privathochschule f\u00fcr Musik ist ein gro\u00dfes St\u00fcck Feldkircher und Vorarlberger Musikgeschichte geschrieben worden. Die alpenl\u00e4ndische Volksharfe hat dabei das Fundament geboten, auf dem nun internationale Studierende nach Feldkirch kommen und ihren Beitrag f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung leisten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Europ\u00e4ische Harfensymposium \u201eStellae Matutinae\u201c<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Der Geist der europ\u00e4ischen Harfensymposien war von Kollegialit\u00e4t, Offenheit und gemeinsamer Verantwortung gepr\u00e4gt. Durch sie kamen junge Talente mit ihren Vorbildern in Kontakt, wobei sie h\u00e4ufig die Rollen als Spielende und Zuh\u00f6rende tauschten. Durch Ausstellungen, sowie Seminare und Workshops, schaffte man eine Atmosph\u00e4re, in der Neugier befl\u00fcgelt, Inspiration geteilt und der ein oder andere Karrierewunsch gefasst wurde.

Da es nicht nur um den internen Austausch geht, sondern vielmehr um die Verankerung in der Gesellschaft, der Eroberung der B\u00fchnen und der Auseinandersetzung mit den Herausforderungen unserer Zeit, die uns alle betreffen, kann dieses Symposium Kreise in breitere Schichten Kunst- und Kulturinteressierter ziehen. Nicht zuletzt \u00fcberrascht die Vielfalt des Instruments immer wieder neu und belohnt die Zuh\u00f6renden mit Eindr\u00fccken, die lange nachwirken.

Die Geb\u00e4ude der fr\u00fcheren Stella Matutina bieten sich in nahezu schicksalhafter Weise an. Der Hinweis auf den Morgenstern, der den Tag ank\u00fcndigt und die Zukunft beschw\u00f6rt, die reiche Bildungsgeschichte des Orts und die junge Stella Vorarlberg Privathochschule f\u00fcr Musik bieten das perfekte Fundament f\u00fcr die Neuauflage des europ\u00e4ischen Harfensymposiums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
